A divine introduction by a mutual friend (thank you, sweet Allison) brought these two women together - both ready to put their strengths and creativity into building a business of their own. Eva and Ginny are both big believers in the power of women supporting each other. Magic Happens. Its KEVA's mission to create goods that inspires beauty in the everyday moments and the confidence to start small, dream big. Enjoy this Q&A from Ginny + Eva - the ladies behind KEVA!
THREE THINGS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT
Ginny: Mexican Food, Arbonne Fizz Sticks, Family & Friends (ok, that's 4)
Eva: Spicy food, Massage and Family
YOU'D NEVER GUESS THAT
Ginny: I’m obsessed with Lionel Richie. I grew up listening to his music (thanks, Dad), have met him twice and am proud to say my kids know several of his songs word for word (proud mama moment)
Eva: My first profession was in Golf Course Management and while working at St. Andrew’s in Scotland I had the opportunity to have dinner with Peter Thompson at his home and had the privilege of having the inaugural dance with Gary Player at the Grand Opening of his golf course in Anhui, China.
I'M THANKFUL FOR & PROUD OF:
Ginny: I’m thankful for my two children and husband and having a job that allows me to watch them grow up. I’m proud of myself for having the confidence to take the {scary} leap into starting my own business.
Eva: I’m thankful for my family and all of the amazing people that I've met throughout my life. I'm most proud of taking the big risk traveling to the UK for school - without knowing the language - and for believing in myself and my abilities to grow KEVA!
MY NEXT VENTURE IS...
Ginny: As an entrepreneur at heart, my brain doesn’t turn off and am always thinking about new ideas to grow. Right now, I’m giving myself the grace to slow down and find the balance of building a business and being mom to my sweet kids.
Eva: Right now I am focused on KEVA and making it the best that it can be.
OUR ADVICE TO OTHERS:
Ginny: Step by Step, Seed by Seed. Start small, dream big.
Eva: Dream big, don’t limit your stage.

Perhaps it's the versatility of this color combination that excites us the most? Or maybe it's because you literally can wear it with a jean jacket or on your wedding day. Either way we are thankful for this color combination.

]]>Here are a few of our takeaways
1. We now have KEVA retailers coast to coast - YAY!
2. It's such a wonderful community of brands supporting other brands like our new friends Grace Graffiti who made our signage for our displays - hand-made in their Brunswick, Georgia studio.
3. Shopping Local makes a difference. We met hundreds of retailers who are some of the most creative and hardworking people we've ever met. They each have a story and are supporting their communities in wonderful ways. We challenge you to pick 1 local business to support each week - you have the power to make a difference! #shoplocal
Thank you for your encouraging words, being our cheerleaders and sharing the KEVA love with your friends, family, co-workers and the world! We can't thank you enough!
